Happy Saturday y’all!
It’s been a long week. I’m not complaining, my days have passed by real fast, but at the same time I feel like this week is going slow too.
Maybe it’s because I leave for CANADA in 9 days?! Hello vacation. I am so excited to be amongst the maple leaves, crisp cold air, and Canadian bacon. I’ve heard so many good things about Canada so, I’m excited to see it in real life.
I promised myself last year that it would be MY year. I put myself as a priority on my personal lists and it was the beat year I’ve ever had. This year is my “travel year.” I’ve got trips planned and Canada is only the beginning. Earlier this year I had the chance to take a solo trip around Texas and it was so liberating. Canada will be good to escape my everyday reality and explore a new place for a change.
If you don’t already know, I’ve recently moved stores. I’m still with the same company (like I could ever leave, lol) but I’m at a different store. I’m down south in Sugar Land, Texas and I LOVE IT. I love the area & the clientele. The store is absolutely beautiful & my employees are the sweetest humans.
Working in a new environment has its challenges, but this environment is absolutely stunning and worth the headache my 45 minute commute gives me. The entrance is beautiful, the wallscapes are amazing, and the fitting room is glorious.
I look forward to working in my new home everyday. I don’t mind the drive because it allows me to day dream about the visual moves I’ll be doing. It’s been challenging but worth it when it comes to showing the best product and working with new walls. Check out my faithfully visual page to see how I’ve adapted to my new store.
I am inspired by my job and the environment I get to be in everyday. I try not to repeat any outfits because I love styling new ones. My favorites this week have some of my new jewelry purchases styled on them. These looks were fun, comfortable, and perfect for any occasion this spring.
Top: Gap, it has cute tie shoulder details, sits across the shoulders well, and the fit was flattering. I am in a size medium.
Jeans: Altar’d State, of course. These are my favorite jeans in my closet. They come in a light wash & a dark wash (and I have multiple in each color). They fit true to size, but you can go a size down if you want them to have a tighter fit.
Sandals: Altar’d State, last summer. But they hold up well & they are SO COMFORTABLE. We don’t carry them this year but my link above shows lots of cute new styles.
When I tell you literally (almost) everything in my closet is from Altar’d State. It really is.
Top: Varma from Altar’d. The Pom Pom details and gold stitching make this top so cute & ready for vacation. You can incorporate so many colors into your outfit from the Pom poms alone. I’m in a large.
Skirt: Makeshift Marcy, from Altar’d. I have this camel color & a maroon color and I love them. If you don’t already have them in your closet, you’re missing out. I’m wearing a medium.
Shoes: Eloise sandals, from Altar’d. The thicker bottom of the sandal is comfortable to be worn all day. These fit pretty true to size. I’m normally a 6.5, but I’m wearing a 7 in these.
I felt so comfortable in this outfit. This was by far my favorite this week. Also, I’m obsessed with this jacket now.
Layer: Denim Jacket from Target. Seriously the most comfortable, light weight, and affordable jacket I’ve come across. It’s a perfect addition to my closet & I can’t wait to style it again.
Top: Made in Texas open Back tank. This shift has been discontinued but for #styleinspo you can style this outfit with any graphic tee.
Shorts: Bazai shorts from Altar’d. They’re stretchy, have a longer inseam so they’re not riding up, and a frayed hem detail. Super cute and worth the buy.
Shoes: Aldo Platform Sparkle Sneakers. These NEED to be in your life. Seriously. They’re unbelievably comfortable. I recently tore my ACL & Meniscus again so through physical therapy and wearing my knee brace (not pictured, sorry Doc), I need comfortable shoes. These get the job done. SO worth the buy.
I’ve told y’all what my favorite was. Now it’s time for you to tell me. 💕
Happy Easter weekend y’all.
