We are HALFWAY done with the year…. can you believe it?! I feel like it has whizzed right on by. As you know, I work at Altar’d State, and we are starting to see sweaters and scarves in our new apparel. I am just sweating at the thought of wearing layers right now. Though, the thought of cute layers and riding boots is enticing… I always feel the most stylish in the fall because I can layer so many things to not only be functional but also very chic and trendy. So, as the sweaters start rolling in, so do the new fall colors. Now that we are halfway through the year, its time to start purging your spring-summer brights and exchange them for warm tones for the fall.
I am loving the burgundy, olive, and mustard colors for fall. They mix well with brown or black accessories and colorblock outfits look effortlessly chic. Among the items I’m seeing in my own store, stores like Free People, Francesca’s, Anthropologie, and Buckle all have some really cute new trends in their new arrivals. Stripes, bright colors, crop tops, and embroidery are the best trends for transitioning your summer wear into fall colors. Some of my favorite picks are below. They’re all really comfortable and so easy to wear!
If you’re feeling boujee (like I do 90% of the time), this dress from Free People had me feeling some type of way. That summer tan is finally setting in so I was sun-kissed enough to perfectly pull off the marigold color. Gold, silver, and black jewelry complimented every feature and made me feel so beautiful. This week I will have a few more #fitsessions to show off some new arrivals in my favorite stores. Follow my Instagram story for more details!
