Yes Girl

Taking a huge leap of faith is never easy. You’re unsure about the decision, you go back and forth, but there’s also a glimmer of peace…sometimes. Is this right for me? Am I really going to do this? What does this mean for my future? I think I’m ready for this…right? All these questions (and more) have been running through my mind for a while now. I started reading Girl Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis and girl, you have GOT to read this. I wouldn’t consider this a “self-help” book, more so a motivational read. This was a kick you in your ass, get up and achieve your dreams kind of book. I was even 7466d2638a1bbd6f5d8bef0d5e703776more motivated to go after what I want. Something I said to myself earlier this year has really resonated with me. Know your worth. Know what you want in life and know what it takes to get there. I’m very strong willed and nothing will stop me when I know what I want. Right now, I want more opportunities. Through this past year I’ve had the privilege to adventure and explore more of the world we live in. Through those adventures, I learned more about myself than ever before. I know I’m not alone when I say that I want to keep learning as long as I can. I want to continue to be a “yes girl” and take on new opportunities. So, I’m ready to take a great big leap of faith and say yes to a new adventure. After reading over Rachel Hollis’ words over and over again, I knew I could achieve my goals and dreams as long as I kept pursuing and never stopped myself from learning. Everyone’s journey is different and I want to look back on my life knowing that I understood what I was worth and what I could do to keep achieving what I want.

This change isn’t going to come easy, but it will totally be worth it. I have decided to leave my current company, Altar’d State, to pursue new adventures with Lululemon. It’s something I’ve thought about for a while now and I am ready to say “yes” to new opportunities to grow and develop both as an individual and in my retail career. I never thought the day would come where I would ever leave such an amazing company, but it’s time for us to part ways. This leave is going to be bittersweet, but totally worth it. Altar’d State will always hold a special place in my heart, but it’s time for a change.

I keep thinking about who I am meant to be and where I am supposed to go. My mom told me earlier this year that my strong willed nature sometimes scares my parents. They know nothing will stop me from achieving my dreams and getting what I want. I know what I’m worth and I look forward to conquering the opportunities that see the same worth in me. Lululemon will be an amazing journey that I know will help teach me more about myself. I have a passion for styling and working with amazing clients. This company embodies all of the ideas and values that are important to me so, I know this is a great fit. If you have never shopped at Lululemon I encourage you to come visit me. This athletic apparel line is inspired by yoga and is absolutely incredible. You are making an investment for your body with every purchase. So, come visit me at my new store and take on this adventure with me! I’m excited for the lifestyle change this will also bring. I’m ready to explore, learn, and grow within the store and on the many trips I foresee myself taking. Stay tuned and look forward to lifestyle blogs, wellness updates, and lots of new adventures.

Chase those dreams,
